While Jason Weisman’s role in the Auto Body Experience focuses on his saxophone prowess, he is also an extremely talented composer and vocalist. He is in the Minnesota Rock and Country Hall of Fame for his work with Big John Dickerson and Blue Chamber, has won Minnesota Music Awards with the Jaztronauts, and currently runs precisionbooking.com and minnesotasmusic.com as his day job. Jason graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring, Music Business and performance and claims to not be as fat as he looks in this picture. He can be heard on several local albums, has performed on national ads, and has shared the stage with such names as the Petersons, Willie Murphy, Joe Juliano, West Side, Steeling Dan, Dr. Mambo’s Combo, and more. He has also toured Europe extensively, sharing the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shakir, Harry Connick Jr., Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Pearl Jam, Steppenwolf and Blue Oyster Cult. Jason loves long walks in the park, sunsets and gazing into the right person’s eyes after a long day. He is also starting a foundation to teach kids to clap and whistle. He dreams of the day when he can learn the art of welding, but for now, it is just a dream.
